    This generation Ford Focus is known to have transmission reliability issues. I hadn't done much research before hand, but have now found the transmission to be a little rough/hesitant at times. Despite build quality concerns across the board, I find this car to be quite enjoyable to drive. If the engineering of this car was a little more sturdy it would make for the perfect daily usage vehicle within it's price range

    There just too many buttons but that is becoming common on all newer vehicles so one must just live with it and learn to read the book first.
